$10,000 in ONE DAY!

wow! I mean, WOW! Thank you to all of you for such a successful Day 1. Raising over $10,000 from over 100 people in one day was beyond my wildest dreams. The pledges, the shares on social media and the heart-felt messages have made today surreal (and that I didn’t sleep a wink last night.) I am humbled.
With 38 days to go and with your continued support, I feel optimistic that we will get to the $15K target…. But before we start to celebrate, PLEASE continue to share, talk about it with your friends or the next time you drink wine, post a pic with #idrinkwine on social media and tell us where, with whom, etc. along with the link for HaloVino’s Kickstarter. Let’s make this more about YOU, the ones who really are making this happen.
I am already starting to think up some “stretch goals”. These are added incentives to get funding to, say, $20K or $25K. For instance, should we reach a higher target, I may add on more free glasses, extra online classes, a wine tote bag, a corkscrew or I am working on something that I don’t want to reveal just yet, in case I can’t make it happen… But I think you will all like it!
Let me know if you like any of these ideas more than others, or, even better, if there is anything YOU want to see for “stretch goals”. I’m listening…
Now back to work... Replying to all your wonderful messages and prepping for tomorrow's morning talk show. I'll be talking about which wines to drink while trick or treating with your kids, and candy pairings. I kid you not. I'm five fun-size bars and three single serving wines into research, and all I gotta say is "Butterfinger and Moscato".
